HFO-1234ze(E)
As a fourth-generation foaming agent with a low GWP value, HFO-1234ze(E) is an ideal substitute for HFCs in extruded thermoplastic foam applications and polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam applications. HFO-1234ze(E)is non-flammable and low toxic. It has excellent polyol miscibility, good polymer melt solubility in polystyrene, suitable thermal conductivity, superior foam properties, and good compressive strength.
