Beijing Yuji and Mitsubishi Chemical establish comprehensive cooperation

Beijing Yuji and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation have carried out comprehensive cooperation in nitride phosphors.

Beijing Nakamura Yuji Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Yuji Science and Technology Co., Ltd., is an enterprise dedicated to the production, R&D, development and sales of LED phosphors.

As a result of negotiation between Yuji and Mitsubishi Chemical for one year since 2011, Mitsubishi Chemical officially increased its capital in Beijing Nakamura Yuji Technology Co., Ltd. in March 2012. This marks the full cooperation between Yuji and Mitsubishi Chemical in LED nitride phosphors.

During the cooperation between the two parties, Mitsubishi Chemical has dispatched technicians to Yuji Company to provide assistance in R&D and production, and created the MPR brand of nitride red powder. Mitsubishi holds a number of patents in nitride red powder, which makes the nitride phosphor produced by Yuji one of the few patented products in China domestic market.
