YUJILEDS™ Releases new generaion of VTC series LED

In 2013, we released a revolutionary full spectrum LED of VTC series, leading us to become the first professional company which did not only achieve high color rendering performance at full correlated color temperatures, but also achieved volume production.

Since the advent of VTC concept, we received strongly positive feedbacks from customers who came from over 94 different countries all over of the world. So far VTC has brought incredible achievements on:

•Photography / Cinematography lighting industry.

Perfect matching and accurate color response on the camera sensor, excellent skin tone rendering, no matter what skin color you are.

Customers in this industry share a lot of favorable feedbacks and suggestions, thanks to them, so far we have customized plenty of specified products to match different application scenarios.

•Horticultural lighting.

By providing necessary near-UVA wavelength, which plants always require, and comparing to general blue chip pumped LED, VTC offers full spectrum, as well as the sunlight, in the visible range.

Additionally, unlike human eyes, plants require quite different and special spectra response. Due to our strong background in phosphor and packaging technology, we are honored for being serving the world’s most professional customers’ requirements.

•Color matching proof.

VTC brings unprecedented spectra, which means comparing to general high CRI LED, more accurate color differences can be detected under a light source based on VTC concept.

•Artwork creation and exhibition.

Artists have sensitive eyes, blink of an eye moment, they could tell the difference between VTC and common LED, despite which is already with high CRI. Gradually, VTC replaces the sun for artists who need to work at night. With VTC soft light and harmless wavelength of 405nm, the safety of the artwork is guaranteed simultaneously.

•Human-centric lighting.

The human-centric lighting topic is getting hotter. With the global economic increasing, people start care more about the light from “energy centric” to “human centric”. It is glad to see that more and more people are getting interested in lighting quality. For high-end decoration, VTC mimics the real sun spectrum unprecedentedly. Avoiding the strongest blue, VTC helps to regulate the circadian rhythm better.

Now we are excited to release the new generation of VTC series SMD package – the all new VTC 3030 series!

It comes with 3.0mm*3.0mm size, the typical power consumption of 0.2W, then comparing to our existed VTC 2835 which is also 0.2W, what are the differences?

•PPA vs EMC material of lead frame.

The all new VTC 3030 series upgrades its lead frame from PPA (Polyphthalamide) to EMC (Epoxy Molding Compound). EMC represents better thermal and UV resistance performance, it reserves us the possibility to upgrade the LED to 1W or even higher power.

•Voltage bin of 2.9-3.7V vs 3.0-3.4V.

With the upgrade of development, now we control the voltage within a tighter range by reducing 50% bins, for helping users to design their circuit layout more easily. Approaching 3.0V makes it more convenient to apply matched components like resistors.

•Chromaticity bin us reduced 50%.

The chromaticity consistency is always important for all applications which require color quality. With the upgrade of development, we achieve tighter Standard Deviation Color Matching (SDCM), the tolerance is reduced by 50%.

The typical 0.2W VTC 3030 is already available for purchasing, 0.5W and 1.0W are under development, we expect to release them soon.
