Iodotrifluoromethane/CF3I
As an environmentally friendly Insulating Gas, Iodotrifluoromethane (CF3I) is a sustainable alternative to sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) for electrical equipment insulation and arc quenching applications. It has excellent environmental properties, and in pure form has a relative greater dielectric strength than SF6 at a given pressure.
